Mary Binford Miller (1953-)

Mary Binford Miller grew up in western Kansas and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from Kansas State University. For seventeen years, she worked in the commercial art field as a fashion illustrator and graphic designer. She currently teaches painting at the Wichita Center for the Arts in Wichita, Kansas. Her fine arts career specializes in figurative works, landscapes and western subject matter. Mary has studied with noted painters Everett Raymond Kinstler, David Leffel and Daniel Gerhartz. Her major influence was her great uncle, nationally recognized painter and lithographer, Wayman Adams (1883-1959). She is an award winner in both commercial and fine art venues.
